National and International Recognition as a Leader in Aboriginal Evaluation
Since 2001, Johnston Research Inc. has contributed to the excellence of Aboriginal services through our evaluation and research projects. In an effort to raise the profile of Aboriginal evaluation, we have: a) developed culture-based tools and methodologies, b) guest edited the first Aboriginal edition of the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation (2010), c) sponsored and/or presented at Canadian Evaluation Society and American Evaluation Association annual conferences, and d) served on the Ontario Chapter Board of Directors of the Canadian Evaluation Society. Our approach is to implement evaluations that work with programs in a culturally competent manner. Our evaluations are lead by and only deploy Aboriginal professionals, ensuring that knowledge is exchanged in a culturally safe way.
