Over a Decade of Research Experience
Johnston Research Inc. has worked on many projects as a result of referrals and a high performance track record. For example, JRI completed four of the national AHSUNC annual administrative surveys, four projects under the Family Violence and Prevention Program for INAC, and three projects for Communicable Disease Control Division under FNIHB. The jurisdictions of projects have included a single First Nation, Ontario-wide, across Canada, and abroad. Johnston Research Inc. completed projects under seven federal government departments and 16 programs including topics such as justice, health, labour, family violence, income assistance, early childhood development, urban strategies, and management committees. The focus of the Aboriginal organizations we have worked with included on-reserve, off-reserve, Métis, women’s, health, children, employment training centre, and friendship centres. Publicly-funded and community organization projects were related to tobacco cessation, education, and senior / Elders health care.
